This listing is to purchase Paperback copies of Between the Clouds that can be donated to the school, business, or charity of your choice. Simply enter the quantity of books and the address where you would like the book shipped and any custom message you would like sent with the book at check-out. If you would like the book donated to a school in Samoa but do not know of a school to ship to, you can also select School In Need – Samoa or Hospital – Samoa and we will send the book to a school or a hospital in Samoa on your behalf.

Between the Clouds is a story for all ages and fills a unique need—it bridges the gap between picture books and chapter books. Forty-four full-color pages include longer passages to help expand children’s reading capabilities, while enchanting illustrations capture the amazing adventures of a very curious little water droplet when he’s not in the clouds!

Between the Clouds also celebrates all forms of life and showcases majestic sea creatures, noble birds, beautiful plant life, and even Polynesian voyagers! My husband is half Samoan and our family lived in Samoa for the last three years. We love the people and islands of Samoa dearly and were sad to realize that ONLY 0.1% of all children’s books contain a primary or secondary character or subject or setting about Pacific Islanders. By purchasing this book, you will help bring these characters to life and allow for future books to be written that will include even more Pacific Islander characters, subjects, and settings. Plus, you’ll receive a beautiful book that you can enjoy reading with younger children or that your older children can enjoy reading themselves.

This beautiful paperback was printed locally in the USA on paper made from trees that were sustainably harvested from the Great Lakes region.
