- Ask each child to bring in $1-5 to help cover the cost! Call it an “in school field trip”
- Send an email or form home to families announcing that you’re planning on bringing in a published author to speak to the kids! Ask for donations to help with the cost. Extra funds can be used to purchase books!
- Choose a low-cost virtual visit.
- Ask the Parent/Teacher Association or other special interest club/fund for assistance
- Apply for a community or educational grant from local organizations (Rotary, Kiwanis, etc.)
